Hi there! After completing the Coding Dojo full-time 14 week program, I am continuing to grow my skills as a software engineer. Originally from Nevada, I attended Seattle University to obtain my BA in English Literature. Currently I live with my two cats and, along with coding, have a passion for trying new places to eat!
A 3D Unity game with the objective of collecting materials to build a nest and avoiding collisions with obstsacles. Tools include C#, the Unity game engine, balsalmic, trello. Picked up on new technologies on the fly during a fully remote work environment. Brainstormed, designed and tested in a team of 4 developers to design according to predicted user habits and prefrences.

Developed and implemented C# scripts dictating creature behavior and handling user interactions, Interactions such as naming, feeding, playing, and cleaning your pet with mobile applications developed through Unity game engine. Collaborated using Github for source control and thorough development documentation. Developed and tested prototype deployed onto android phone.
Reduced development time through internal API services supported by MongoDB for database flexibility and quick setup. Streamlined back end development time using Express Node.js RESTful API framework. Enhanced data flexibility with a variety of Axios methods (POST, PUT, GET, DELETE) connected with CORS.
Deployed through AWS using Amazon EC2 for cloud server security, scalability, and accessibility of the website. Reduced time spent on deployment and time considering computing usage. Also an affordable option. Optimized flexibility and scalability using MongoDB NoSQL for tabular database saving time throughout the development process. Enhanced readability and shortened front end development time using Bootstrap CSS framework, improving conciseness and resulting in more responsive website design.

Learned the Python, C#, and MERN web Development stacks given a short learning window, while achieving excellent marks on all exams. Demonstrated time management skills, accountability, and determination. Kept pace with intense, short timeframes to pickup new tools, followed by periods of project development both independently and working with a team.
